What are Moving Mosaics™ made of?

Aluminum Cans, Nails, Paint, & Plywood.

Can they go outside?

No, they are designed for interior display.

How do they move?

Air motion from a fan, vent, walking past, opening a door or window, blowing on them, or bass music.

Do they make a sound?

Yes, they make a very faint tinkling sound when they really get moving.

How long do they take to make?

Four to six weeks.

How do you clean them?

Dust with a dry, wide brush in downward strokes.

Do you cut yourself a lot?

Not very often.

Do you provide tutorials or workshops?

No.

What do you do with the leftover can pieces?

We take them to a recycling center.

Do you accept commissions?

Not typically, but you can always let us know what you have in mind to see if it might be a good fit.

Do you ship international orders?

We are slowly rolling out orders to a handful of countries.

Will you donate art to my charity event?

We would like to be able to help everyone, but we choose our donations very carefully. At this time we cannot commit to donation requests.
